Jewelry that is designed and made by hand in my home studio in the mountains of West Virginia. I'm influenced by both an affinity for geometry and love of botany and nature. Currently I am working primarily in sterling silver.
Many pieces are one of a kind featuring quality gemstones, including authentic turquoise, and cultured freshwater pearls. Designs that are repeated like The Mountains Are Calling series will still show the subtle variations that come from being crafted one at a time by hand - I begin each piece with an idea or inspired phrase, a drawing, a piece of wire and a sheet of metal.
Since 2009, my jewelry has been fabricated using traditional metal-smithing techniques and tools. Hand-sawn, hammered, formed and soldered, each piece of jewelry is conceived as a little work of art that can be worn every day.
